Job summary

hargroveepc is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to perform comprehensive design work on complex projects. You will conduct stress analyses, develop layouts, and prepare material take-offs while coordinating with drafting and design teams on-site during startup.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and 6+ years of relevant industrial experience, with PE registration highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with department design and drafting standards and applying them to tasks.
• On-site assistance during startup and fieldwork for data gathering.
• Develop conceptual layouts, perform stress analyses, and prepare calculations and material take-offs.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure conformance to specs and codes.
• Coordinate with design leaders to ensure timely project completion.
