Job summary

Join nVent as a Manufacturing Operator in Solon, OH, responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining progressive die press equipment and related tooling to produce quality parts per blueprints.

You will work a 3pm–11pm shift Monday–Friday, with a compensation of up to $38 per hour and a $5,000 hiring bonus. Strong adherence to safety and quality standards is required, with ability to read drawings and use precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy-duty power equipment to bend, form, and assemble products per blueprints and templates.
• Assist with setup of dies, forming blocks, and adjusting equipment as needed.
• Verify material size, type, and identification; check tolerances with calipers and micrometers.
• Move materials using pallet jack or lift truck and follow safety rules.
