Job summary

nVent is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Solon, Ohio to set up, operate, and maintain progressive die press machines, auxiliary equipment, saws and related tooling to fabricate parts per blueprints. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and quality standards while supporting continuous production.

You will read drawings, review schedules, and run multiple processes, using measuring tools and lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior manufacturing experience and forklift familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read drawings, schedules, and instructions.
• Experience following blueprints and work instructions.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Prior work in a light industrial facility preferred.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy-duty power equipment per blueprints.
• Assist setup and operate multiple automatic/multi-slide equipment.
• Read drawings and schedules to follow instructions.
• Inspect material for correct size, type and color.
• Report faulty equipment and maintain a safe, clean work area.
