Job summary

nVent in Solon, Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to set up, operate and maintain progressive die press machines and related equipment, producing quality parts per blueprints. The role requires reading drawings, using measuring tools, and performing material checks in a fast-paced environment.

You will work 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday, with a $5,000 hiring bonus. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate lift trucks as needed, while maintaining safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints or drawings
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
• Lift truck experience recommended

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy-duty power equipment per blueprints
• Assist setup and operation of multiple automatic/multi-slide equipment
• Read and follow drawings, route sheets, schedules and instructions
• Check material size, type, ID and color
• Move materials using pallet jack, lift truck or crane
• Ensure safety devices are installed and maintained
• Report faulty equipment or material and note unusual conditions
• Maintain neat, orderly work area and follow safety rules
