Job summary

nVent is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to set up, operate, and maintain progressive die press machines and related tooling to produce quality parts per blueprints. You will handle automated equipment, cadweld/flashweld brazing gear, and verify dimensions with micrometers and calipers.

Shift: 11pm–7am, Sunday through Thursday, with compensation up to $38/hr and a $5,000 signing bonus. You will work in a safety-conscious environment, following procedures and collaborating with team members to

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, safety- and quality-conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and reading blueprints.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Prior experience in a light industrial facility preferred.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs; lift truck experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy-duty equipment per blueprints and templates.
• Assist with dies, forming blocks, and adjust stroke and feed as needed.
• Verify material size and configuration using measurement tools.
• Move materials using pallet jack, forklift, or crane (where qualified).
• Report equipment faults and material issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform additional duties to meet production needs.
