Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Presales, Systems Engineer (Finance) to join our remote-enabled sales team in the United States. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping customer solutions across data center, WAN, cloud, and AI infrastructure while collaborating with account teams and product engineers.

The role requires deep pre-sales expertise, extensive experience with data center architectures, and a focus on customer outcomes. Travel as needed may be required.

Qualifications

10+ years in technical pre-sales or related roles.
Experience designing large-scale Data Center and WAN solutions.
Strong knowledge of EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, and cloud connectivity.
Experience with SONiC is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Serve as trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and account teams.
Lead architecture workshops and PoC engagements.
Develop solution architectures and BOMs for enterprise and cloud environments.
Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs.
Collaborate with product management and engineering to capture customer requirements.
Maintain expertise on industry trends and share knowledge through enablement.
