Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services NA Design & Construction is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to autonomously lead complex industrial projects from site selection through design, permits, and contracts. You will shape budgets, design management, and procurement while guiding multiple teams across regions.

You will mentor junior PCM teams, drive best practices, and partner with Real Estate, Entitlements, and Construction to deliver high‑impact facilities for Amazon's network.

Qualifications

7+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience.
Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

Autonomously manage complex cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design, permitting, and contract execution.
Lead site selection and validation, scope development, and design management for sites complying with Amazon standards.
Oversee design management end-to-end, including evaluations, conformance reviews, and value engineering.
Manage budgets, contracts, and procurement with external partners and vendors.
Write narratives and present decisions to Directors and VPs; communicate status to teams and partners.
