Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services NA Design & Construction seeks a Senior Preconstruction Manager to autonomously lead complex industrial projects from site selection through design, permitting, and contract execution across the region. You will govern scope, budget, and schedules while coordinating with internal and external partners.

You will mentor PCM teams, develop playbooks, and drive best practices in preconstruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in project management/real estate development or construction.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Travel up to 60% nationwide; ability to relocate within reasonable distance.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage complex preconstruction projects from site selection to design completion and permitting.
• Lead design management, scope development, and entitlements across a region.
• Oversee budgets, procure external vendors, and negotiate contracts.
• Mentor and develop junior preconstruction managers; present to Directors/VPs.
