Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction. You will act as the senior owner's representative during preconstruction, autonomously managing complex industrial projects from site selection to contract execution across your region.

You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure scope, budget, and schedule are defined, and will lead planning, design, and preconstruction efforts including

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience.
• Position includes travel up to 60% (Nationwide). Travel involves air travel to regional airports and driving to site locations.

Responsibilities

• Own and enforce safety programs; lead regulatory compliance and permitting where applicable.
• Autonomously manage complex, cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Lead site selection and validation, design management, and value engineering assessments.
• Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement; ensure alignment with project goals.
