Amazon's Global Engineering Services North America Design & Construction team seeks a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead complex industrial preconstruction efforts from site selection through permitting and contract execution. You will manage budgets, oversee design management, and lead external partners across multiple locations with travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of project management experience from design phase through implementation and operation
• Experience with packaging, processing, or logistical facilities
• Travel up to 60% (Nationwide)

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion.
• Lead site selection and validation, scope development, and design management.
• Oversee design management end-to-end, including design evaluations, conformance reviews, and value engineering.
• Manage multiple large projects across locations with limited oversight.
• Drive crisp decisions, clear blockers, and timely escalations.
• Mentor and develop other preconstruction managers.
• Write narratives and present complex decisions to Directors and VPs.
