Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects within GES NA D&C. You will manage site selection, design validation, permitting, and contract execution across multiple locations, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule targets are met.

You will partner with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders, driving decisions, supervising resources, and maintaining high-quality documentation and risk analysis throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience from design phase through implementation and operation.
• Travel up to 60% nationwide; valid driver’s license required due to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Lead site selection and validation, scope development, and design management per Amazon's standards.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to secure resources, set priorities, and drive delivery to deadlines.
• Prepare and present project status and risk reports for leadership and stakeholders.
