Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager in GES NA Design & Construction to lead complex industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through permitting and contract execution. You will guide design teams, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor junior managers while coordinating with stakeholders across multiple locations.

The role requires up to 60% travel nationwide and the ability to work from a corporate office; relocation assistance may be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of project management or owner’s representation experience.
• Experience with complex industrial preconstruction projects.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage complex cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Lead site selection and validation, scope development, and design management for plans compliant with design standards.
• Oversee design management end-to-end, including evaluations and value engineering.
