Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction. You will autonomously lead complex, cross‑functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution, across your region.

You will manage budgets, oversee design management, select external vendors, and lead project procurement—accountable for the full external team performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in a related construction or owner’s representation role.
• Travel up to 60% (Nationwide); valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead autonomously complex, cross‑functional preconstruction projects from site selection to contract execution.
• Oversee design management, evaluations, conformance reviews, and value engineering.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and external partner selection for regional projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align scope, schedule, and costs.
• Mentor and develop other preconstruction managers and contribute to best practices.
