Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a proactive Preconstruction Senior Manager to bridge design and construction across EPCM projects, ensuring resources, budgets and schedules align with client expectations.

You will lead a team of Construction Package Development Specialists, coordinate with design, procurement, scheduling and project controls, and drive constructability reviews and risk mitigation in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in managing construction projects related to industrial and/or commercial facilities.
• Field Construction Experience on active construction projects.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Experience optimizing construction scheduling and sequencing.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of working time across North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Construction Package Development Specialists across multiple EPCM projects, coordinating with design, procurement, scheduling and construction teams.
• Contribute to design constructability and sequencing plans; drive risk mitigation and schedule adherence.
• Develop and implement subcontracting and procurement strategies with construction management and procurement teams.
• Lead planning and execution with design, procurement and project controls for timely information flow.
• Coordinate constructability reviews and ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction.
