Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a proactive Preconstruction Project Manager to bridge design and construction within timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. You will collaborate with design, procurement, scheduling, and construction teams to deliver well-planned projects across North America.

The role requires 5+ years in construction project management, strong communication, and hands-on experience with 3D modelling tools. A hybrid work arrangement is available, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years experience managing construction projects related to industrial and/or commercial facilities.
• Experience with 3D Modelling software.
• Field Construction Experience on active projects.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of time and work across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Support the preconstruction team on tasks including bid package development, scheduling, estimating, VDC modeling, and reporting.
• Participate as a key contributor for constructability and sequencing plans.
• Drive collaboration between stakeholders and align client expectations.
