Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Partner to join our E&TS National Platform in Denver, CO. You will drive consistency in preconstruction, estimating, and risk management across project-based units, and coach teams through conceptual to investment-grade stages.

Four-year degree required; 12+ years in construction or related fields. Strong financial tools knowledge, Procore and Autodesk familiarity, and advanced Excel required.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of financial management software.
• Twelve years' experience in construction, project management, estimating or preconstruction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore and related tools.
• Experience leading standards in preconstruction and cost estimating.

Responsibilities

• Lead standardized, high-quality delivery of preconstruction, estimating, and risk management across all units.
• Coach, train, and mentor regions and business units through all project phases.
• Standardize scopes of work, budgeting tools, and preliminary schedules with project teams.
• Partner with design and energy engineering leaders to ensure consistent use of approved product lists and measures.
