Job summary

McKinstry in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior Preconstruction Partner to drive standardized preconstruction processes across national platforms. You will lead estimating, risk management, and contract activities in a multi-unit environment, coordinating across regions and with Legal, Technical, and Financial teams.

You will coach teams, evolve curricula, and optimize scopes of work, budgeting tools, and schedules with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree in architecture, engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• Twelve years' experience in construction, project management, estimating or preconstruction.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management, preconstruction, and cost estimating software tools.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to lead diverse teams across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead standardized preconstruction delivery, estimating, and risk management across project units to ensure profitable outcomes.
• Coach, train, and mentor teams across regions and units through all project phases.
• Implement and standardize tools, templates, and training methods for preconstruction and estimating.
