Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. seeks a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead preconstruction and estimating for our National Mission Critical team. You will create cost models, lead complex estimates, and mentor Cost Engineers and Project Managers while building client relationships.

You will guide planning and design phases, review project estimates, and contribute to sales presentations to win engagements. A strong background in CSI/Uniformat II and data-driven budgeting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• Minimum 10 years commercial construction experience including 5 years in preconstruction/estimating.
• Proven ability to manage teams successfully and profitably.
• Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control and material pricing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide preconstruction leadership and estimating guidance to projects and teams.
• Create cost models and estimates; review staff estimates and advise staff accordingly.
• Train and coach Cost Engineers and Project Management staff.
• Develop contacts and relationships with potential clients.
• Develop accurate conceptual estimates and deliver well-coordinated design documents.
