Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Preconstruction Manager to join our National Mission Critical team in the United States.

You will provide leadership and expertise in preconstruction and electrical estimating, develop cost models, review staff estimates, and support value analysis and pursuits. Responsibilities include collaborating with project managers, selecting subs, performing quantity take-offs, and mentoring Cost Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural or Construction Management.
• At least 10 years of proven experience in commercial/electrical construction; data center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers to develop conceptual and detailed estimates for Electrical scope.
• Scope, compare and select subcontractors based on value and project requirements.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing and evaluate for budgeting and bids.
• Perform quantity take-offs of all electrical systems.
• Record final estimates and maintain cost history.
• Provide preconstruction expertise including value design, costs, schedule, procurement, and pursuits.
• Mentor Cost Engineers and Project Management staff.
• Develop contacts and build relationships with potential clients.
• Deliver formal sales presentations to prospective customers.
