Job summary

Haskell Company is seeking a Lead Estimator to drive preconstruction success in Jacksonville, FL. You will lead a team, develop detailed cost estimates, and set bid strategies to win projects. This role interfaces with Directors, Architects and Engineers to ensure accurate budgeting and risk assessment.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in estimating with strong knowledge of design development, scheduling, and cost controls, plus robust subcontractor management and client relations skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years estimating experience; 9 years in construction acceptable in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating team and manage preconstruction pursuits.
• Coordinate design reviews, bid plans, and resource allocation.
• Develop and review master estimates, WBS and wage rates.
• Coordinate pre-bid site visits and bid reviews with project leadership.
• Manage subcontractor quotes, relationships, and selection.
