The Haskell Company is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts in Jacksonville. You will guide the estimating team, develop comprehensive cost estimates, and coordinate with project directors, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate bid packages.

You will review drawings, develop bid strategies, manage subcontractor quotes, and participate in post-estimate budget discussions. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and travel is involved.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years estimating experience; or 9 years with no degree.

• Participates in design review meetings, reviews scope, cost, and constructability.
• Leads a team of estimators and develops bid strategies for success.
• Reviews proposals, creates master estimate formats, and analyzes risk.
• Coordinates pre-bid site visits and preconstruction activities.
• Manages subcontractor selection, quotes, and relationships.
• Participates in post-estimate budget development and lessons learned.
• Travels ~10–25% for site visits and meetings.
