Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its national preconstruction team in the United States. You will provide accurate and detailed cost estimates and coordinate with Project Directors, Architects and Engineers to drive winning bids.

In this role you will lead bid strategies, review design options for cost-effectiveness, and manage subcontractor sourcing and analysis to ensure competitive, compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or construction-related field with 5+ years estimating experience.
• Minimum of 5 years estimating experience or 15 years of related construction experience.
• Experience with Design-Build and CMAR project delivery methods.
• Proficient in Beck Destini, Accubid, Bluebeam and InSite estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Estimate: participate in design reviews and determine scope, cost and constructability.
• Estimate Development: establish bid strategies and develop estimates at varying design levels.
• Subcontractor Management: obtain quotes from subs, coordinate bid packages and ensure qualified selections.
• Post Estimate: develop project budgets and review cost control with stakeholders.
• Database Management: maintain estimating data and bid forms.
• Training: assist in estimator development and performance reviews.
