Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead plant QC programs and prepare facilities for PCI and DOT audits. The role requires PCI Level III certification, 6+ years in precast QC, and the ability to supervise Level I/II inspectors across multiple plants.

You will audit supplier plants, host PCI certification events, and resolve complex prestressed product issues with the engineer of record. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions; resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
