Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs and audits in accordance with PCI and DOT standards. The role includes resolving prestressed product issues, auditing supplier plants, and developing Level I and II inspectors across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate has PCI Level III certification, 6+ years in precast QC with supervision, and credibility with plant managers and inspectors.

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification current; 6+ years in precast QC including supervision.
• Knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and hosting audits; credibility with plant managers and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions across plants and projects.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
