Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to serve as the senior QC authority across plants, establishing programs and preparing for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals. You will lead and develop Level I and II inspectors, audit supplier plants, and collaborate with engineers of record and plant managers to ensure crack-free, compliant prestressed products.

The role requires PCI Level III certification and 6+ years of relevant experience, with travel

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III is required.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting audits.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies and supervise Level I and II inspectors.
• Develop and mentor inspectors across plants and projects.
