Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant quality programs and drive PCI/DOT compliance across production facilities. The role requires PCI Level III certification and extensive experience in precast and prestressed QC, including supervising junior inspectors and coordinating audits.

You will establish QC manuals, prepare plants for PCI certifications, and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers; supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
