Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs and audits under PCI and DOT standards. The role requires PCI Level III certification and extensive experience in prestressed products, including supervision of junior inspectors.

You will coordinate audits, manage corrective actions, and ensure compliance across multiple plants while maintaining strong relationships with owners, engineers, and inspectors.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III current.
• 6+ years in precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Experience hosting PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions; resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
