Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector III responsible for establishing plant QC programs and preparing plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals. You will lead corrective actions, resolve structural acceptance questions, and audit supplier plants for owners and agencies while supervising Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

The role requires PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III (current) with 6+ years of precast QC

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Familiarity with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast specs.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
