Job summary

Construction Material Testing in New Haven, CT seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to act as the senior quality authority, establishing plant QC programs and preparing facilities for PCI audits and DOT approvals. You will resolve complex precast issues and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

The role requires PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III and 6+ years of precast QC experience, with strong knowledge of PCI standards and DOT

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification current with 6+ years precast QC.
• Experience with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.
• Ability to prepare plants for PCI audits and host audits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
