Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III, a senior quality authority responsible for establishing plant QC programs and preparing plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals. You will resolve structural questions on prestressed products and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

With PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III current and at least 6 years in precast and prestressed QC, you will lead audits,

Qualifications

PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III current.
6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
