Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to guide quality assurance across precast and prestressed operations. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and resolve structural questions with the engineer of record.

You will supervise Level I and II inspectors, audit supplier plants, and ensure compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specifications, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Familiar with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; supervise Level I and II inspectors.
