Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to act as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and lead corrective actions with engineers of record.

You will supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants, audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, and ensure compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements while travelling to project

Qualifications

PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III current with 6+ years in precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specs.
Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting audits.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies and qualify precast suppliers.
Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
