Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits and DOT approvals, and resolve prestressed product issues with the engineer of record.

This senior role also audits supplier plants for owners, mentors Level I and II inspectors, and travels to project sites as required, with hourly pay between $38 and $50 depending on certifications and experience.

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification and 6+ years in precast QC including supervision.
• Familiarity with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs for precast.
• Proven plant certification prep and hosting audits; strong coordination with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI and DOT requirements.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; supervise Level I/II inspectors across sites.
