Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector to lead plant QC programs and drive PCI/DOT certification readiness. You will resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants.

You will audit supplier plants, qualify precast suppliers, and travel between plants on project basis with per diem as assigned. Pay ranges align with certifications and experience.

Qualifications

• PCI QC Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions; Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
