Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to act as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants.

The position requires a current PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III and at least 6 years of experience in precast QC, with strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC, including supervision.
• Familiar with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting audits.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI and DOT.
• Lead corrective actions and audit supplier plants for owners and agencies.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
