Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Inspector III to serve as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits, and lead corrective actions with engineers and DOT inspectors.

The role requires PCI Level III certification and 6+ years of relevant QC experience, including supervision, with familiarity of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs. Travel between plants is common.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Certification Level III is required.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
