Job summary

Construction Materials Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits and DOT approvals, and resolve complex prestressed product issues with engineers of record.

The role oversees Level I and II inspectors, audits supplier plants for owners, and advances the firm’s PCI compliance and quality standards across multiple plants and projects.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
