Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant quality control programs, prepare facilities for PCI audits, and resolve complex prestressed product issues with the engineering team. This role requires PCI Level III certification and 6+ years of QC experience across multiple plants and projects.

You will supervise Level I and II inspectors, audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, and ensure alignment with PCI and DOT standards.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
