Job summary

The Construction Material Testing company is seeking a Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs, prepare for PCI audits, and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products. This senior role oversees Level I and II inspectors and partners with engineers of record and DOT inspectors.

Pay ranges from $38 to $50 per hour, with dawn starts aligned to plant schedules and travel between plants for owner and agency inspections, including per diem as assigned.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Experience with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting audits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
