Job summary

Construction Material Testing in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead quality control across plants, establish QC programs, and prepare facilities for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.

You will supervise Level I and II inspectors, resolve structural questions with engineers, audit supplier plants, and travel to project sites as required, with pay and per diem per project.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III is required.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting audits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record; audit supplier plants for owners and agencies.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
