Job summary

Construction Material Testing in the Midwest seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III, the senior QC authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant quality control programs, prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

This role involves supervising Level I and II inspectors, auditing supplier plants for owners and agencies, and leading corrective actions.

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification current with 6+ years of precast QC including supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT precast specs.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and audits; liaising with engineers and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI and DOT.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and audit supplier plants for owners.
• Supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants.
