Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead plant QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.

You will supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants, audit supplier operations for owners and agencies, qualify precast suppliers, and guide audits from start to finish while traveling between sites.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, currently held, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Expert knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit; credible with plant managers and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
