Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to serve as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed elements, establishing plant QC programs and guiding PCI audits and DOT approvals.

You will supervise Level I and II inspectors, audit supplier plants, and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record, while working across plants and projects and traveling as required.

Qualifications

• PCI QC certification Level III is required.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs in line with PCI and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants and qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
