Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to serve as the senior quality authority across plants, establishing QC programs and preparing facilities for PCI audits and DOT approvals. You will supervise Level I and II inspectors, audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.

Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III required.
• Six+ years of precast and prestressed QC, including supervision.
• Expertise in PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast specs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; supervise Level I and II inspectors.
