Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits, and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products. The role requires PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III and 6+ years of precast QC, including supervision.

You will audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, supervise Level I and II inspectors, and travel between plants on project assignments with per diem.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions; resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
