Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to serve as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI audits and DOT approvals, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants.

You will audit supplier plants, qualify precast suppliers, and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record while traveling to project sites to support ongoing quality control

Qualifications

• PCI QC Level III certification current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions; Resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
