Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant quality programs and PCI/DOT readiness. You will oversee and develop Level I and II inspectors, drive corrective actions, and ensure compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.

The role involves auditing supplier plants, coordinating certification activities, and working with owners and agencies across projects, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions; Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers; supervise Level I and II inspectors.
