Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Precast Inspector III to serve as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, guide audits for PCI certification and DOT approvals, and resolve complex structural questions with the engineer of record.

You will lead and develop Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants, audit supplier plants, and ensure compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specifications while coordinating

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies and qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
