Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs and PCI/DOT readiness. You will prepare plants for PCI certification audits, address acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record, and audit supplier plants for owners and agencies.

Responsibilities include supervising Level I and II inspectors, developing QC manuals, and ensuring compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold PCI QC Level III certification and have 6+ years in precast QC including supervisory experience.
• Strong working knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast specs.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and hosting audits.
• Ability to interact credibly with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
