Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Precast Inspector III to serve as the senior authority on precast and prestressed quality. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI and DOT audits, and lead corrective actions with engineers of record.

The role requires PCI QC Level III with 6+ years in precast and prestressed QC, plus strong familiarity with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs. You will supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit; credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions; Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers; supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
